Frequently asked questions

Will my Tally software be exposed to the internet?

No. The sync agent runs on your PC and only makes outgoing HTTPS requests to Digital Nexus. TallyPrime's port remains local to your machine.

How up to date is the data?

The agent syncs balances and the last two months of vouchers every hour, and refreshes the full financial year every night. Syncing runs whenever the PC is on and the company is open in TallyPrime.

Which versions of Tally are supported?

The agent works with TallyPrime through its built-in XML interface on port 9000. If you are unsure about your version, sign up and run the agent's connection test; it will tell you straight away.

Do I need a separate Claude subscription?

Yes. You use your own Claude account. Digital Nexus provides the secure connector that lets Claude read your synced Tally data.

Can my accountant or partner access the dashboard?

Yes. Invite team members by email from the Team page. They can view reports, while billing and sync keys remain with the account owner.

How do I cancel?

Go to Billing in your dashboard and turn off auto-renew. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
