Enable the Tally connection

On the PC where TallyPrime runs, open F1 (Help) → Settings → Connectivity. Set "TallyPrime acts as" to Both and make sure the port is 9000.

Download the installer on that PC

The installer is personalised for your account, so there is nothing to copy or type. Each download creates a new sync key for that PC.

Only the account owner can download the installer. Ask them to set up the Tally PC.

DigitalNexus-Setup.cmd has been downloaded. Double-click it to start setup. It deletes itself when setup finishes, because it contains your sync key.
Your sync key has been copied. Run the downloaded DigitalNexus-Setup.exe; it will pick up the key automatically. If it asks for the key, paste this:
Run it and follow the four steps

Setup checks your account, finds TallyPrime, turns on automatic sync (hourly, plus a full refresh every night) and sends this financial year. It needs no administrator rights and takes about two minutes.

If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway. Afterwards, open Digital Nexus Tally Connector from the Start menu to sync now, change the key or uninstall.

Each connected PC has its own key. Revoke a key to stop syncing from that PC immediately.

Connect Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the URL below. When prompted, sign in with this same email address and select Allow.

Then try asking: "What were my sales this month?", "Show the ledger for Sharma Traders" or "Which items are in negative stock?"
